Rebekah Bruce Parker is a freelance Pianist, Vocal Coach, and Music Director based in New York City. Before NYC, she worked on the music and theatre faculty at Oklahoma City University as a music director, vocal coach, diction, and theory professor. She has also worked with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, The Pollard Theatre, Edmond Summerstock, Edmond Youth Chorus, Canterbury Choral Society, and the Oklahoma Community Orchestra, among other regional groups.
Ms. Parker has been a soloist at two National Flute Association conventions. In 2010, she was the winner of the pianist division of the Oklahoma Community Orchestra Concerto Competition. Ms. Parker served as a vocal coach with Si Parla, Si Canta, attended the Goodspeed Music Direction Intensive in 2012, and has also worked as a music director and pianist in Kansas, Texas, Missouri, and Florida.
In addition to her work in NYC, Ms. Parker can be found working as a Vocal Director with Celebrity Cruises Entertainment in Miami, FL. She is a highly sought-after pianist and music director skilled in a wide variety of genres with over 30 stage production credits in opera and musical theatre.
Rebekah most recently worked as Music Director for the First National Tour of Mean Girls the Musical, after performing in the pit and conducting the show on Broadway.
She is currently a pianist with the Broadway play The Lehman Trilogy at the Nederlander Theatre.
Rebekah is an avid reader, Gryffindor, and dog mom to Desmond and Penny.
